DO NOT INTERACT :// mostly going to be a list of my beliefs, if you disagree then just move on from my profile, thanks. small things to get out of the way, dni if you support zionism and whatever else that's common sense.
BEFORE YOU FOLLOW :// other than discord (mutuals only), i'm only really active on twitter and tumblr. i occasionally draw suggestive art but nothing too crazy, still recommend being 16+ before interacting with me.
NOTE :// i don't care if anything listed here aligns with anti or proship/profic beliefs, please do not use either label for me. frankly, i don't want to be associated with the loud idiots from both sides even if i engage in discourse. i'm pretty firm in these, but if you wanna try to enlighten me, shoot me a dm on twitter (assuming you won't just call me slurs). my frontal lobe isn't fully developed yet, sorry if i sound stupid.
romanticization, glorification, and sexualization are things that do exist and happen. i'm not going to pretend it doesn't.
i strongly encourage civil, open discussions about fiction or any media really. relating above, it's a gray area whether a story is depicting a taboo topic in a poorly written way.
sometimes romanticization, sexualization, etc, is used in a meaningful way. i strongly believe that intent behind certain artistic decisions is important, but i may miss it which circles back to my point about discussions. i have not suffered abuse, sexual assault, or anything along those lines, which is why i like to hear opinions from those who have.
i don't believe in censorship, ignoring dark/taboo topics does it no favors.
yes, fiction does affect reality to some degree. not in the way people argue that video games cause violence, obviously. you'd already have to be mentally vulnerable to let fiction influence your actions. people are based in reality and fiction makes people feel a certain way.
narrative content is separate from kink/fetish content and the difference should be made clear enough. applying morals to kink/fetish content and criticizing it like you would a narrative is a little unproductive.
with that being said, i draw the line at incest and lolisho. if you're using it to cope, understandable. if you're using it to get off, i think you're gross, simple as that. i see no appeal in sexual depictions of fictional children and i do not want an explanation. maybe you're not a terrible person, but i don't see myself willingly hanging around someone that enjoys that content.
personal opinion territory, i think having a main account dedicated to kink/fetish content yet not keeping it inside that specific circle is strange. it's a sensitive topic and the internet is full of ignorant idiots, it's just better to keep it to trusted people/communities.
harassing people over fiction is stupid, turn off the phone. i usually don't care unless they're geniunely a shitty person. however, i think it's fine to let people know that someone openly likes certain content. i do not mean callout posts that warrant witch hunts. if it's posted publicly, referring to it is free game.
like how i believe fiction affects reality, i also think what you consume in fiction reflects you as a person. this isn't meant to be inherently bad, for example if you use dark fiction to cope, that does still say something about you and how you deal with your trauma.
boundaries should always be respected, but especially with indie creators and their ocs. yes, there is a point where a corporation can't say what to do with their marketed characters. yes, you cannot control what people do with your creations. but when an indie creator explicitly says to not sexualize their ocs or whatnot, don't be entitled just because it's fiction. if you really have to for some reason, keep it to your fucking self instead of posting it publicly for the creator to find. you are just an asshole for doing this.
